Patient Care Coordinator (Safeguarding) – Full-time (37 hours per week)
An opportunity has arisen for a patient care coordinator to join our friendly and supportive surgery team.
Providing central coordination for safeguarding administration, the successful candidate will oversee document handling, record management, and communication with patients, professionals, and partner organisations.
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated person who enjoys working with a diverse range of people. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential and you will be a competent organiser with good time management abilities.
The patient care coordinator will be employed by the West Somerset Primary Care Network which covers the four GP surgeries in the area. Based at West Somerset Healthcare, as part of our surgery team the role will provide high quality administrative services to support our provision of care to over 10,700 patients.

GP Medical Receptionists
West Somerset Healthcare (Williton & Watchet Surgeries)
A re-structuring of our team has created openings for two medical receptionists to join our friendly and supportive surgery team.
The successful candidates will enjoy working with people and be able to maintain a calm and professional approach whilst working in a busy and intense environment. Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills are essential.
The posts offered are for 19.5 hours and 24.5 hours per week. Candidates will need flexibility to provide additional cover in the event of colleague absence and occasional Saturday mornings will be required on a rota basis.
