Healthcare Assistant (HCA) Full or Part-time

West Somerset Healthcare (Williton & Watchet Surgeries)
We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and compassionate Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our friendly and well-established nursing team.

The successful candidate(s) will enjoy working with the public, and whilst experience in a healthcare setting would be an advantage, this is not essential as full training will be given.

Working in line with national guidance and practice protocols, you will assist our clinical team in the provision of patient care.

Once fully trained, duties will include taking blood samples, performing ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, weight management, administration of injections, lifestyle advice, and much more.

West Somerset Healthcare provides family GP services from our surgeries, in Williton and Watchet, and supports a culture of learning and development for our team.

We will consider applications for full time hours (37.5 per week) or part time.

We offer a competitive salary dependent upon experience, generous annual leave entitlement and our staff are eligible for the NHS pension scheme.
