Disability Access

BACK TO MAIN INDEX

If you have any special needs please let our staff know so that we can help and ensure you get the right support.

Our facilities are located within ground floor layouts, with wide door access and toilet facilities for patients with wheelchairs. Our surgeries offer automated entrance doors and low level reception desks. We also have a portable induction loop in each surgery to enable hearing aid wearers to hear speech clearly with little or no background noise. We try to ensure fair and suitable access to our services whatever a person’s disability.

Dedicated disabled parking is available on site at our Williton surgery.

If you have a specific disability that our current facilities are unable to meet, please let our Practice Manager know so that we can try to overcome this.

Loop System

We have a loop induction system at the reception desk to assist the hearing impaired.

Blind / Partially Sighted

If you or family members are blind or partially sighted please let our reception team know so we can provide information to you in alternative formats.

For more advice and support for blind people please see the following websites:

Guide Dogs

Guide dogs are welcome at the surgery but we ask that you be aware of other patients and staff who may have an allergy or fear of dogs.
