We make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our practice. However, we are aware that things can go wrong resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly, and as amicably, as possible. We are continually striving to improve our service.
We appreciate that people often do not like to complain, but assure you that we do want to know if you are not satisfied. If you have a comment, complaint or suggestion please tell any member of staff who will assist you, or ask to speak to our Management Partner, Alison Foulkes. Should you prefer to speak to one of the doctors this can be arranged.
To ensure clarity, you may wish to put your views down on paper, in which case these should be addressed to Alison Foulkes.
A copy of our Practice Complaints Procedure Leaflet is available from the surgery to assist anyone wanting to make a complaint. We will always comply with the formal NHS complaints process. Independent information about the NHS complaints procedure is available either from the PALS (Patient Advice & Liaison) Officer at Somerset Primary Care Trust or from NHS Direct on 0845 4647.
